No I didn’t. It is different for everybody, if you eat the correct foods and exercise you will loose weight if you want. If you burn the same amount of calories you take in, that is when you loose weight. There is 3,500 calories in a pound. Going vegan itself won’t make you loose weight most likely, it is all up to what you eat and what you burn. There are a lot more healthier choices on a vegan diet though then any other diets, but there are a lot of sweets and fattening food you must try not to indulge in.

It is best you get all your daily nutrients and eat organic & fresh foods and cook them yourself. Make sure you eat plenty of vegetables & fruits, drink plenty of water, and get plenty of exercise!

not in the first time – and dependes how many industrial food you use
All in all it helps your body finding his "ideal-weght" what must not be low-weight automatically, but of cause as a vegan you will not be "fat" this is impossible *IMHO*

If you want to lose weight, it should be very easy.

Some people lose weight because they don’t learn how to make good vegan food before they commit to it.

I lost a little, but not much. My husband lost about 2 pds a week for a month.

But really, if you ate chips, chocolate and beer all day, you’d gain weight.

So being vegan, veg or omni, you always need to keep a balanced diet.

Good luck, being vegan is one of the best choicest I\ve made!

In depends on how many meals you eat. I eat once a day and I’m a vegan and I don’t lose weight, but it takes inactivity(lazyness) for me to gain weight. Another fun thing is that vegan weight is easy to lose.

  6. ktrb Says:

Not necessarily. It’s possible to have an unhealthy vegan diet that’s rich in sugar, white flour, and other foods that pack on the pounds.

You definitely dont gain weight from being vegan. Only 2% of vegan people are obese and I guess thats becuase they were having too much artificial crap. If someone is already thin, and then they become vegan its not like they’ll become anorexic but if someone is heavy and goes vegan they’ll lose weight faster and it’ll be easier.Anyone who says you gain weight being vegan is totally wrong.

I gained weight…But i think it was because i finally really started paying attention to what my body needed. I needed some weight anyway :)

I didn’t at first. I was eating much more as vegetarian than when I was a meat eater. I lose a little after I control my portion.
I was slim to begin with. But I think people will lose weight when they have some weight to lose when they begin.
