I’m thinking about becoming vegetarian, or pescetarian. What do I need to know about becoming one of these? Do I need to take vitamins everyday? Is this a healthy choice to make?
One silly question…
how do i give up steak?!

I am vegetarian.
I think you should become vegetarian. It’s a greta idea. Aniamls once had lives.
Animals could live.
But that got took away.
They left their families and lives behind.
They can never go back.
Sorry youtube links don’t work on here.
Type into youtube "meet your meat"
It is so sad, and shows how some aniamls are killed.
I can’t watch it all. Made me cry.
I don’t take tablets or anything.
You can take iron tablets but you must be 16.
You could go see a doctor, but i didnt.
I eat other stuff with the right stuff in it.
Things i eat and you should:
Yogurts, milk, cheese, noodles, eggs, Fish (bu i don’t as they are animals) fruit and vegetables, butter. Obviously other stuff too, just not meat. But that can all replace the meat.
Heres a site that may help a bit.
It has abit of information on there.

Hope i helped.
It is a healthy choice to make as long as you go about eating right. You might wanna take a look at a vegetarian food pyramid…Depending what kind of vegetarian you are becoming. You can google that. If you are becoming a pescetarian i’m not positive if there is a separate food pyramid for that but i’m pretty sure you can just use the regular food pyramid because fish and meat are in the same category.
If you learn to follow a balanced vegetarian diet you don’t need any vitamin pills. This website is run by a group of vegetarian medical doctors. Get the Vegetarian Starter Kit from –

I am vegan and the only supplement I take is Vitamin B12. It is the only nutrient/vitamin that you can’t really get from a plant/nut/grain/seed diet (neither plant nor animal produce it). But I don’t think that will be a problem if you’re still eating dairy.
Like Kristina said, as long as you follow the vegetarian food pyramid, you should have no problems. There is a wealth of information out there on vegetarianism.
Good luck
Vitamins are always a good idea, veg or not. It can be healthy as long as you’re smart. I recommend everyone to look at this vegetarian food pyramid:

Steak? You could either give it up completely or you could wean yourself off of it. I know it can be hard because you probably love it a lot, too, but you have to just stop thinking about it. There are also some "steak" strips made by MorningStar, but they’re not too close to the real thing.
