I don’t think we were meant to eat meat. But that doesn’t matter right now, because what matters is that we CAN survive without eating meat.
Positive:
It’s extremely healthy for you.
It’s healthier for you and reduces your risk of certain diseases. Vegetarians are 50 percent less likely to develop heart disease, and they have a 40 percent lower cancer rate of meat-eaters.
If you eat meat you retain the chemicals, hormones and antibiotics that are fed to cattle to accelerate growth and cause weight gain.
It is suspected that meat-eaters are prime candidates for degenerative diseases, such as arthritis and gout. Fish and prawns and other crustaceans are preserved using boric acid, which attacks the liver and the brain. Boric acid is known to cause fits and coma before the victim dies of liver damage.
Lower cholesterol and lower blood pressure.
Meat-eaters are nine times more likely to be obese than vegans (who don’t eat any animal products) are.
Vegetarians have stronger immune systems than meat-eaters.
Vegetarians and vegans live, on average, six to 10 years longer than meat-eaters.
You are helping the environment by not eating meat.
You are also helping the animals by not and aren’t supporting them, which makes the companies lose money.
Negative:
You need to make sure you eat well and are really healthy to make sure you get enough vitamins and minerals from your foods because vegetarians and vegans sometimes lack in those. You could get sick if you don’t eat healthy and are really lacking in vitamins and aren’t getting enough of what you need.
People may be mean to you for being a vegetarian/vegan.
Tofu is a lot cheaper than steak lol, the bad part about being a vegetarian is you cant eat meat. I eat my veges and meat it all keeps me healthy.
I am a vegetarian, and I honestly think that we are meant to eat meat. But, as human do, they have gone nuts and greedy and went overboard cause they want to have a bigger house, shinier car, etc etc. Its all about money and they dont care what pain an animal would sustain as long as they make money. Its digusting what they do to these animals. http://www.meat.org
Positive:
Lowers your cholestorol
Better for your heart
You know no animal was hurt for your meal
More energy
Negatie:
Going out to dinner is a hassle unless there is veg restaurants in ur town (ZERO in mine)
You have to read every single label when you shop for food
People make fun of you.
Always have to explain why you eat what you eat. When someone says no nuts, no biggee I say no meat, big controversy.
Positive:You won’t have to eat meat and eat those poor animals who are killed and fed to people
Negative:You might really want to eat meat and especially when other people are eating it
Positive:You will be healthier and have a chance to eat more fruits and vegetable
Negative:You’ll have fewer things to eat if you don’t eat meat
Positive:You’ll save money because you won’t buy meat
Negative:You might not get as much protein as you used to
Positive:You could get more protein from protein shakes and protein bars but only if you like them
That’s all i can think of so good luck and if this helps please pick my answer as best answer
The positive is that you are not eating meat therefor it helps your immune system the negative thing about it is that some vegetarians eat too much dairy and gluten so yeah that’s not a good thing about it. And others don’t eat enough fruits and vegetables.
My experience is great I’m a gluten free vegan =) My health has improve greatly
It’s stupid how a lot of vegetarians and vegans worry a lot about protein
Vegetarians are bucking their evolutionary past, which has made them omnivores.
Can’t think of any positives for being a non-meat eater.
Try asking a Lion.
i am vegetarian whole my life as my mom was vegetarian and i am very healthy. The benefits is ur health adn the animals of course.

Well I’m an omnivore, and proud of it.
I don’t know why anyone would want to change to a vegetarian…?
Mmmm, hope I have prawns and rice tonight.
^_^
Ok the positives are… You don’t have to be eating meat that has been tortured and fed things u don’t even want to know about. Its easy if your not vegan. Its living a healthy lifestyle.
Negatives:You can’t eat meat and you get tempted when you see others eat.
negative- you have a hard time getting the protein you need every day. I eat things like soy nuts or
protein shakes to get enough protein. Also there are less options at some restaurants.
positive- you eat more vegetables and fruits. it really depends on what you think is positive.
health effects- I have not had any health issues because of being a vegetarian.
Try being a vegetarian for a period of time and if you don’t like it, don’t do it. If you like it, great!
