Food does not make you lose weight.
Eating fewer calories does that.
So- salad,
plain rice, no dressing,
fruit salad with no ice cream.
plain cooked food, with no cream sauce, no cheese, no fat like oilve oil or butter.
No cakes, biscuits or muffins.
Just eat whole plain food with no added crap, like sugar, and butter.
Go to the green grocery part of the supermarket and only eat food from there.
Any fruit
Any veg- cook it plain, just boil or bake potatos, sweet potatoes pumpkins, eggplants.
boil lightly veg like- broccoli, cauliflour, peas, corn, green beans, carrots, kale, collards, spinach.
Drain and add salt pepper , some herbs, some minced garlic, lemon juice, and soysauce or ketchup. And eat this veg with brown rice. Add mustard, low fat dressing, curry powder, any kind of seasining to make it good.
Food will not make you lost weight, you just can’t cook with cream butter oil or any of that junk.
Only a bit, and if you simply can’t do wthout cooking in oil, then fine, use olive oil or any good oil, but don’t go for the creamy sauce.
SOups are filling and good too./
Boil potatos, addsome garlic in the cooking water and a stock cube. Add cabbage towards the end and some leeks.
When potatos are cooked, blend the whole lot in a blender, add salt and pepper and low fat plain yoghurt and herbs like rosemary and oragano- strong herbs.
It makes a lovely soup.
Canned chickpeas in a curry soup- add the chickeans to a pan with a litle bit of oil, some garlic cloves and chopped onion.
Add curry powder and simmer with one cup of good broth, covered, til the onions are cooked and starting to caramelise.
Serve with plain rice.

I am a 6-month vegetarian and have lost a healthy amount of weight. Cutting out meat alone with do this. However, recipes with lots of green vegetables (obviously!) will fill you up without filling you with calories. This website is great! http://kitchen-parade-veggieventure.blogspot.com/ I also purchased the a cookbook called College Vegetarian Cooking that is wonderful! One more thing: Make sure you get lots of protein via veggies, nuts, and meat replacements. Happy vegging

Have you tried to fast? This is one way of losing weight quickly. Check with a health professional before you go on any extended fast. Book: Arnold Ehret- Rational Fasting. I lost 30 lbs. in 10 days on a water fast. You might want to consider a colonic to rid yourself of impacted food in your body.

Food doesnt make you lose weight…watching your intake of calories does. Control your portions, eat 6 small meals a day and exercise. Avoid processed things like white bread, white pasta and white rice. Switch to whole grain items. Include lots of vegetables in your diet and drink at least 5 glasses of water a day. Choose high fiber foods that keep you full. Beans are a staple in the vegetarian diet and are very high in fiber.

the best way to lose weight is eating proper meals (veggys, fruits, protien etc…)and drinking lots of water, along with EXERCISE*
walking, running, working out, bike riding, swimming, dancing……..anything, just keep Moving*!
no vegetarian meal is going to make you lose weight. Tis your choice to become a vegetarian, but if it’s to lose weight………that you decided to become vegetarian, then you’re doing it all wrong and wont see the results you’re hoping to see.
Goodluck*
