Vegetarian diet?
I’m thinking of eating less meat and meat products (environment wise) but, as I know my parents (i’m in high-school, still live with them) would worry (they think meat’s good, the more the better) and as I want to take things slowly, I’m planning on starting with three days a week.
Can you recommend a diet? Give a useful site?
Thanks! Have a sunny day!

I became a vegetarian in High School too. I just asked my parents to cook meat on the side if they wanted it (like not put beef in the pasta sauce), and suggested a lot of diverse menus (like baked potato night, breakfast-for-dinner, lasagna without meat, etc.
After a while it became normal for them. I also talked to them on multiple occasions) and explained that this is what I believe. At some point they give up and either resolve that it is a phase, or you are convicted to what you believe.
As for definitive evidence that vegetables won’t kill you:

Good for you! If everyone just cut their meat consumption in half, so much environmental destruction and animal suffering would be prevented.
Check out this site for a guide to making the transition:

To be healthy, make sure you’re eating enough calories (don’t live on low-calorie foods like lettuce) and include fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, and grains in your diet.
