Vegans how has your health changed since becoming a vegan?

I have decided to become vegan and I was wondering, what are the health benefits? Did you lose weight? Has your skin cleared up? Do you have more energy? ECT..

The best effect being vegan has had on me is weight loss. After becoming vegan I had lost over 120 pounds without exercising at all, and the best part is I have been able to keep it off without exercise also! My self esteem has shot through the roof, which has had great effects on my overall disposition. My skin cleared up and i don’t find any more oil just sitting on my face. I have more energy and gumption to do things, even though I am still lazy at heart =P. Another great thing is I don’t find myself getting sick like at all anymore. Before going vegan I would have multiple sore throats (even though I had my tonsils removed since I was eight) and I would get the normal flu’s going around. Now thinking back over the past two years I don’t think I have gotten sick at all. Another change (although it’s kind of gross and embarrassing) I don’t sweat a lot anymore. My mental health has also been affected. I have more compassion for humans and all creatures (bugs too, even though I am scared to death of them), as well as a new love for nature (kind of make me sounds like a hippie huh?). I now love the outdoors and I like to take hikes and just nature watch. I can’t really think at the moment of other like big changes, so those are the significant changes since becoming vegan.

I lost quite a weight when I was a pretty healthy weight anyway and my skin went from getting the odd spot now and again to completely clear. My body feels a lot more light (my stomach, etc) when I drank milk I always felt kinda sick and especially egg. I’ve just became a lot happier since I became vegan!

I really haven’t lost a lot of weight, only about 10 pounds. My blood pressure is WAY down. It used to be borderline high. I’m almost 40 and now it is lower than when I was a teenager.

I’ve lost about 20-30 pounds, and I don’t get as many stomach pains and headaches as I used to

    Abotu the same.
I don’t get bloated during my period, but thats about it.
My skin hasn’t cleared up- exercise and benzoyl peroxide are the only things that help that.

EDIT: John is a regular troll on here who has never eaten vegan a day in his life. Ignore him.

My health seriously deteriorated due to the vegan diet. I was only on it for a month. It was like self-injury to me. Due to this veganism, I experienced personality changes, weakness, lethargy, Poor appetite, Problems with the sense of taste, Problems with the sense of smell, Slow growth, had and I had Wounds that take a long time to heal. Fortunately I stopped an started to eat a normal diet instead.

I have been vegan for years now and since i turned vegan i have been getting so much energy and i feel happier in general. i get excited more and i feel like i can do anything. i didn’t loose or gain weight. i started out at 93 and im still 93 lbs. so that’s that. my skin is completely clear but before i was a vegan i had the occasional pimple when it was "that time of the month".
    hope that helped!
