I’m at quite a low weight currently and after two years of being vegetarian i’ve noticed a significant drop in my muscle mass. I’m quite small, but what there is of me is only fat. What could i add to my diet to help me gain muscle easier? Or, what exercises would be best?

I’ve been diagnosed with gastroenteritis 4 times this year and I’m starting to wonder if I has anything to do with my diet. I’m out and about a lot so I don’t have time to cook at home for myself. Could a vegetarian or vegan diet help correct this?
