There are many different types of beans each with its own flavor. Most meat eaters think of nasty canned beans when they hear the word beans. Get the Vegetarian Starter Kit from –

Eat a lot of green veggies. Potatoes are really easy to eat if you don’t like vegetables that much.

You could eat tofu or soy. The main reason for eating beans is to get the protein you will be missing. However, soy is loaded with protein so that will be a good substitute

I think the most important thing to learn is how to combine foods so that they will form Complete proteins. Plant proteins are incomplete and you won’t get all of your essential amino acids. It is very important for you to be aware of this. If you combine the right plant foods though together you will get all of your amino acids. That’s my veggie tip of the day. 2nd tip. Steak is yummy

I would not want to be a vegetarian because you miss out on a lot of good foods! But if you are fat then just watch what you eat and pick healthier foods.

Green vegetables are really good for you. You can still eat healthy with non-veg foods. Like, go to the grocery store and get some chicken. first take out all the fat and then chop it into pieces and cook it like you want.

well if you become a vegetarian, then chances are you’ll need to eat lots of soybeans, to replace the vitamin you get from meat.
you can also eat sruff like eggs, peanutbutter, and other meat alternativs
as long as you eat your veggies and meat alt. its all g.

Cashew nuts, fruit yogurt or peas…
I’m not a vegetarian, but i do eat healthy and i do have my "vegetarian" days. If you cut up some apples and bananas and and mix it with some fruit, low fat yogurt in a bowl, you’ll find that its not only tasty, its healthy and filling– and u won’t even need those yucky beans.

I’ve been a vegetarian since the fifth grade! There are many other things besides beans that you can eat such as tofu, soy burgers, cheese, milk, tempeh, and grains! Just always remember to get enough nutrition everyday.I also sometimes eat the high protein power bars if I don’t believe I have had enough protein that day. If you would like a great website for vegetarian recipes I would recommend the link below. Being a vegetarian is great! I hope you become one!

Make sure that you eat a wide variety of foods that will give you the proper nutrients and not just go for a bag of potato chips because it is easy.
I personally recommend taking a multivitamin every day, and depending on what kind of vegetarian you are becoming, if you don’t eat dairy or eggs anymore, I would also strongly recommend taking a B12, since this nutrient is only found in animal products.
To get the iron you will be missing focus on foods like:
lentils, chickpeas, beans, tofu, dried fruit, broccoli
Iron loss is especially significant to girls during menstruation.
Calcium:
If you decide to become a lacto vegetarian this won’t be a real problem, but if you choose not to drink milk, take a calcium supplement and add leafy green vegetables to your diet.
Protein:
This is the one people have probably been yelling at you. haha "You won’t get enough protein!" But its actually easy.
nuts, rice and beans, peanut butter, tofu, seeds, soy milk, grains, cereals and vegetables all have protein.
If you are worried about it, there are also protein supplements you can take with your multivitamin and B12.
This is a good website if you need help starting:
http://www.theveggietable.com/articles/becomingveggie.html
Good site for recipes:
http://www.vegcooking.com/searchrecipes.asp
And most importantly:
Do what feels right to you and enjoy being a vegetarian. Feel solid about why you are doing it.
Good luck! Happy eating! :p

Beans are ok if you disguise them with flavour- try spicy Mexican style dinners, the spices are good for you ( that talk about them causing ulcers and indigestion is baloney). Try hummus, blended chickpea dip with added lemon juice. Make "hamburger" with crumbled tofu mixed with soy sauce and herbs, and lightly fried. Have soy milk with cereal. Actually, pasta itself contains alot of protein, so you could have that with fried broccoli, onions, and mushrooms . Do not worry about not getting enough protein, that is pretty unlikely, unless you eat nothing but rice. Ignore that stuff about the vitamin B12 "deficiency" in vegetarians or vegans, also the one about calcium deficiency from not taking milk -that is also malarkey. Calcium is available in green vegetables and nuts.

Instead of beans you could eat soy, tofu, lentils, nuts, seeds, chick peas. The thing about beans is they are high in iron and protein, and as a vegetarian you need to be sure that you get enough of those nutrients.

A "break-through" in your life time. There are people out there waiting & watching until Obama change their diet. If you want the entire world (except you) to be veg*an, hence finally you want to follow the "societal norm", it’s only possible by your grand-grand children. Nevertheless by mathematical uptrend shows that by the year 2060 there would be 65% vegetarians worldwide, I assure that the world would never achieve 100% vegans anyway.
(I still wonder if your grand child would able in the 65% category anyway).
