How does becoming a vegan improve your mood?

Does anyone have a link to a reliable website explaining the effects of a vegan diet on mental health?? Any info is appreciated. Thank you very much!
I know that it DOES improve mood. It worked for me. I’m just looking for some scientific basis as to HOW it works.

I’m not sure but ever since I’ve became one, I’ve lost loads of weight and that certainly improved my mood.

The chemical contents of the (organic) vegetables (against meat) help a lot in improving a persons health and that includes the moods and mental health. It is very obvious that fruits and vegetables are far very nutritious than meat. (in my own experience)
