I’ve been a vegetarian for 11 years, and I’m 16. But recently I’ve became vegan because I am against animal cruelty.Is it true that becoming vegan helps you lose weight and clears your skin? How long does it take for both of those to take affect. I am not vegan for those reasons but those certainly are a plus.

The vegans I know tend to have better skin…but I know some fat vegans. You still have to pay attention to what you eat, don’t go crazy on the vegan chocolate!
I lost weight when I became vegan, but watch your fats and oils. Make sure you are still drinking enough liquids and eating a variety of foods. You will notice a change in your skin and you will most likely lose weight.
