Karley, it’s really difficult to get fully-rounded nutrition without eating any animal products at all. You need to do a lot more than get lists of acceptable food.

You need to get solid information from a *reliable source* on nutritional needs, from calories to fat to protein to vitamins to, well, everything. Many people who go vegan without having learned this find themselves with compromised health because they’re no longer giving their bodies the things it needs.

In all likelihood, you’ll need to learn to cook your own meals, since most households and many restaurants are not equipped to prepare healthy vegan meals.

First, stop eating any and all animal products.

    Second, become oppressively self-righteous.

FInd a food the is fortified with vitamin B12. Be careful of the glycemic index since you may be eating a lot of starches. Avocados are a nice food for vegans. They are a fruit with fat in them.

No meat, eggs, or milk…you know ,plants are alive too ,so maybe you shouldn’t eat anything that grows.

you have to decide if you want to cut out everything. i still eat fish cz i love it and it is a good source of vitamins and minerals. you can keep drinking milk if you like. however dont forget to take vitamin pills everyday to restore the lost. eat nuts and beans that are a good source of proteins!

My question to you is are you doing this as a matter of personal choice or is peer pressure from someone responsible for your wanting to change your eating habits? As with anything, especially diet habits, use good judgement. A sudden drastic change in your diet could have adverse consequences. Talk with a trained dietician or your family doctor first. Ease into the vegan way gradually, if you still feel that you must do this. Research research research on this is all I can say. Best to be safe now, than sorry later. Good Luck.
