I’m a vegetarian and have been for over 10 years. I don’t try to supplement stuff for meat. I eat what I want. But it’s wise to eat lots of protein which you can get from eggs, peanuts, peanutbutter.
I don’t drink alot of tea so I can’t really help you out there.
Start eating vegetable salad to start with. Eat lots of pulses which is ideal replacement for meat.
Don’t eat meat. Hang a lot of pictures of cute animals in your room. Imagine this in your mind that you would be killing these cute ones to fill your stomach..
George Bernard Shaw once said, "It’s my stomach and not a graveyard" That shoud become your mantra..
Start getting grossed by meat..
All the best!!
There are different types of vegetarianism so you need to find out which type you want to be and then go to a nutritionist or do thorough research. I was a vegetarian for years and suffered medical problems b/c I wasn’t compensating for those vitamins & nutrients lost by not eating meat.

A combination of legumes (beans or peas) and a grain (corn, hominy, or bread) form a complex protein. Meat is a good source of protein; however, it produces a "bad" cholesterol. The combination of legumes and grain produce a different type of cholesterol that is not as harmful as from meat products.
The best way to get started is to determine which ‘type’ of vegetarianism you wish to practice. There are several types and combinations. Some people eat strickly vegetables; others will have eggs and milk; and, some others will have eggs, milk, and fish.
One of the ways to ‘tackle’ a change in diet is to determine what you CAN have to eat instead of what you CANNOT. The benefits of a vegetarian diet may be measured via cholesterol lab results. However, you do need to ensure that you are receiving adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals. Consider a multi-vitamin to reduce the amount of anxiety associated with the change in diet.
I enjoy making a tea of hot water, some lemon juice, and sprinkle with cayenne pepper to taste.
Also, make sure that water is included in your diet. Most of us wake up dehydrated from our hours of sleep without any water. It can affect one’s ability to think clearly and problem solve. Your body weight divided by two is the number to remember when planning how much water to drink each day. Often hunger pangs are really just signaling that one needs water replenishing.
There are topics online about vegetarianism; also, speak with your doctor about any dietary changes that you are planning. They may be able to provide information or literature to help you.
start indulgin urself in eatin fruits & vegetables as they ‘ll improve ur nutrient value as well as ur taste buds or u can opt by makin the vegetarian food more spicy as this may stop u frm non veg foods which r very spicy.
just start slowly eliminating meat from your diet. But you should be healthy about it. Just because you eat a pizza with no meat on it, doesn’t make it healthy. Also read some vegitarian magazines (Veg. Times) and books, and the info will help you get motivated to be healthier. I see it a more of a lifestyle change than just eating habits. Once you become more aware, you want to be healthier
I have used vitams with b2 b12 and d that is the vitiams that you are missing and i learned that the hard way.TRUST ME you dont want to learn it the hard way
stop eating meat
there is nothing that the body needs that it cannot get without meat. if you eat a typical western diet and you simply cut out the meat, you will be reducing your intake of protein, iron, and b vitamins.
you can make up the protein by eating more beans, nuts, and soy products like tofu. (mexican food is a delicious way to get more beans in your diet.) also try cooking with tvp, textured vegetable protein, which has a texture like ground beef, but is tasteless.
make up the iron by eating leafy green vegetables. spinach and broccoli are good sources of iron.
b vitamins are also found in dairy products. if you’re cutting out dairy as well, use the soy milk or rice milk that have b vitamins and calcium added.
and if you’re concerned about having any deficiencies, take a multi-vitamin with iron and b vitamins. but i find that becoming vegetarian usually increases your health dramatically. (as long as you change your diet, don’t just subtract meat and eat potato chips and fries.)
