I bought this book because Fire and Spice is my absolute favorite vegan cookbook and I can count on every recipe to be excellent. This cookbook is however mediocre and gives the impression that the author was asked to hunt up 1000 recipes just to make a new cookbook. Very disappointed.

still browsing thru the book…It is huge so it is taking awhile. I made one of the spaghetti recipes so far…easy and delicious. I am going to cull thru some of my many books and resell them since this one about covers everything! She does use oil but easy to water saute things instead. I am very impressed so far! Everything I could think to look up out of curiosity is in this book and since we are traveling in an rv, it will save me a bunch of space and weight to get some of my others out of here!

This is an amazing book for vegan recipes. In one place you can find something to eat in every category of food. I may not like all of them, but there are enough recipes to have choices.

This book is so fantastic. As the title indicates – it has everything you need. I can’t wait to crack it open and try the recipes throughout the holidays. Besides being tasty, the recipes are really easy which is good for someone like me who is A) exceptionally busy and B) a bit of a newbie chef! Thank you Robin – this book is such a gift. I can cook for my vegan and non-vegan family and friends and everyone will be happy!

This book has got it all: starters, salads, soups, lunches, mains, breakfast, desserts, sauces, drinks etc. And with 1,000 recipes, there is great variety. I’ve tried maybe 7 or so recipes so far within the first couple weeks of owning the book and they have all been great. I like that the majority of the recipes are very straightforward and don’t call for difficult ingredients. This would be a great gift for a someone in your life that wants to incorporate more veggie dishes into their repertoire. I have a couple of Robin’s other books and they haven’t disappointed me either. Buy this book!
